Balsz Community Scan by Richard C. Knopf, Mikulas Pstross, Craig Talmage, and Kendra L. Smith

The Arizona State University Partnership for Community Development was commissioned by the Valley of the Sun United Way to conduct a community scan in the Balsz Elementary School District. Utilizing an asset-based community development model for conducting the scan, the research team sought to realistically identify community challenges and opportunities as seen by the community.
